Launched in 2022, Amorpha Academy is the official education platform by Amorpha Foundation.
Amorpha Youth Foundation is a Bulgarian registered nonprofit established on 16 April 2016. The foundation builds on the legacy of Amorpha Youth Group formed by young people in Varna, Bulgaria, united as a team of public event organisers under the Amorpha brand since 25 January 2009.
Capacity building of young people as creators of initiatives and events, cultural managers, artists, scientists and active citizens shapes Amorpha’s mission since the beginning.
In 2021, the foundation formally launched its official non-formal educational platform.
The programmes are designed around a specific cultural field and usually contain a multidisciplinary aspect. Trainees, aged 16 to 29 years, apply through an open call and attend the programmes free of charge. Each programme is completed through trainee contribution to a final programme event. Most programmes require participation in person in Varna, Bulgaria, while some allow distance training.
The academy’s trainer pool includes both young and established professionals as lecturers and mentors among whom local, national and international cultural professionals, artists, architects, scientists etc.
